Large Format Photography
Deserving of its own gallery, 4x5 large format photography has been the most contemplative and creative experience I've had in photography.
The view camera overcomes most photographic obstacles through its wide range of lens and film back movements.
In addition to 4x5 sheet film I use 120 roll-film backs for 6x7, 6x9 and 6x12 images.

The totally manual image creation process of the Linhof Technika 4x5 field camera and the extraordinary technical movements made possible by it add a whole new dimension to my photography.
4x5 and larger sheet film produces sublime 3 dimensional images making the viewer a part of the scene.
The digital-revolution enabled me to become deeply involved in this wonderful format. My system is built around the legendary Linhof Technika V field camera using the superb optics produced by Schneider and Rodenstock - all with the convenience of various 120 roll film backs.
The detail resolved in a large format image continues to excite me. All I need is the free time to do this system the justice it deserves.
